While in NYC we were able to see American in Paris. It is such a timeless story and featuring music by George and Ira Gershwin. Absolutely loved it!! Tried to get good seats with no luck so we waited until the box office opened and got front and center …. patience and luck are not overrated.

Lots of left overs from Easter so trying to be creative. We will be eating ham for a long time!!! Day one, Cobb Salad with an easy Dijon vinagarette ….
Washington, DC … a monumental city.
Visiting my nephew in DC. Such a vibrant and beautiful city with so much history. A little too early for the full effect of the cherry blossoms but still colorful. Monuments at Night tour was definitely the highlight!!

Easter dinner … Glazed ham, roasted asparagus with hollandaise sauce, scalloped potatoes, homemade crockpot creamed corn and spring veggie orzo salad, so delicious!!!

I’m not going to lie, I have an obsession … My Fitbit!! It’s my activity tracker that lets me compete with friends for the most steps in 7 days. 10,000 steps is the goal but some days are better then others … 🏃🏃🏃

Every season I change the dishes in my glass front cabinets. Out with Christmas and in with my lemon dishes. Gives me a chance to give everything a deep clean and a fresh look for spring and summer!!
